Self-discipline is tough enough for adults to get a handle on, so it’s especially impressive when a 15-year-old starts to make you feel like you could doing a lot more.
In this segment, we have the pleasure of meeting Maggie Nichols, an elite gymnast training for the 2016 Olympic Games. She talks about grueling training schedules, injuries, and the mental exhaustion that accompany Olympic athletes. But she also talks about friends, travel, and the joy she gets from gymnastics. Maggie is even kind enough to share some words of wisdom to younger gymnasts.
